This blog is a vehicle to share the experiences and research of the 15 SIS Graduate students who will be immersing themselves in the study of Cuba throughout the summer.
Kicking off on Monday, May 13, the formal 3-credit Program will be led by SIS Professor Garrett Graddy and consist of a week of classes at American University in Washington, D.C. before departure for a two-week intensive experience in Cuba. While in Cuba the Program will be
hosted at the University of Havana. The Program will include guest
speakers, site visits, and on-line course
requirements throughout the summer following the end of the abroad
component of the course.
